Happy September

Haylee picked Mom these beautiful flowers from her garden the other day and I had fun taking pictures with them. I used the warming effect when editing, but they really didnt need much help, they already looked so beautiful!
I put the vase in the window and was able to capture the sun coming through on them!

Can you believe these beautiful sunflowers came from Haylee's garden?! It seems like we were just helping plant them ;)
Loving my photo editing app that gave me the perfect lighting and these amazing frames. Having fun learning to use a new app that allows me to make photo slid shows...too much fun!

Happy Weekend!

I'm off to a have a hopefully lovely day at a Spring Tea with my Mom, two sisters, and friends! My sister, Hope and I are hosting a table at the tea so I will have lots of pictures of our dishes, menu and decor choices on Wednesday :) Come back to see!
And tomorrow will be a wonderful Sunday starting with Morning Church service and then lunch at our house with a family from Church!
What are your plans for the weekend? Whatever they are, I hope you have a wonderful and safe time :)
Happy Weekend friends!

Easter Lilies!

Well, I was working on making a crown of thorns out of small twigs but it just wasn't working out like I had hoped. So not only is our Church without a crown of thorns, but so is my blog! I was wanting to post about the crown but I see I'll have to find something else to post about!
I help with the decorations at Church and so this morning I bought some Easter lilies for Sunday's service, I fixed them up a little though!

As nice as the flowers are, I didn't like these cheap and not-so-pretty wrappers that they came in, so I switched mine to white tissue paper! I did cut a small piece of the above wrapper and layed it on the tissue before wrapping the pot, just because any water or dirt would probably ruin the tissue paper!
What do you think?...
I think it helped to make them look a little nicer and brighter! I can't wait to set them up at Church along with the other flowers we'll have along with them! If I can, I'll post a picture next week.
Have a wonderful, Christ-centered Easter weekend and a very joyous Resurrection Sunday!
